The herb Artemisia annua L., locally known in Southeast Asia as "qing hao, " which is a member of the "Asteraccae" family. (Common names include "sweet wormwood" or "annual wormwood". )
Main Functions:
Antimalarial;
Treat falciparum malaria;
Dangerous malignant anopheles type.
Also can be used to treat systemic lupus erythematosus and DLE.
Treat breast tumor.
Antibacterial, artemisinin has anti-influenza virus effect.
Anti-parasite, artemisinin play the role of anti-schistosomiasis and leptospirosis.
