Introduction
Principle and structure of switchable smart glass.
Glass Structure: Glass thickness(selectable) + Interlayer Film + PDLC film + Interlayer Film + Glass thickness(selectable).
When Bolipai smart glass is connected power supply. Electrical current is passed through the PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) inter layer which aligns the microscopic crystals along a number of parallel axes, thus allowing vision through the glass. The glass stays opaque when in a power off mode.
